As an Association, we realize just how important it is to be able to protect yourself in the event of an attack. In our line of work, it’s a real possibility that we may become the target of robbery or other malicious personal crimes.
With this in mind, the Association of Real Estate Brokers of Belize (AREBB) realized the need for our Members to be able to adequately protect themselves and planned a self-defense workshop, in collaboration with Dark Arts Academy in Belize City.
The self-defense workshop was designed to prepare members for any circumstance that could endanger their safety. Members learned that when it comes to self-defense, you might be shocked for a second, but you will have the necessary reaction to protect yourself.
The workshop, led by Ben Chub of Dark Arts Academy, incorporated jiu jitsu techniques that prepare the mind and body for the adrenaline rush that may occur in a fight-or-flight situation.
