Nonstop flights to Belize now available through Alaska and Frontier Airlines
Alaska Airlines now offers non-stop flights to Belize from the West Coast of the United States, specifically from Los Angeles, and Seattle. As a result of this opportunity, Alaska Airlines now travels to Belize from its West Coast hubs, joining Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
To add to the list of airlines now servicing Belize, Frontier Airlines, which is renowned for its low fares and commitment to environmentally friendly flying, now offers non-stop flights from Denver, Colorado, and Orlando, Florida to Belize.
Alaska Airlines’ first non-stop trip from Seattle into Belize on November 19, 2021, was welcomed by Garifuna drumming as the country celebrated Garifuna Settlement Day. On December 11, 2021, a Frontier Airlines flight from Denver was met in Belize with the sounds of beating drums and a water salute just before passengers departed the aircraft.
While Alaska Airlines offers nonstop flights from Seattle twice a week and Los Angeles four times a week, Frontier Airline’s service will only be available once a week on Saturdays, with the possibility of expansion in the future.
